The zumo 550 is Garmin's premier unit for motorcycles. All the usual features are here, like a vibration-tested, waterproof body with left-handed controls and a touchscreen designed for use wearing gloves. It comes preloaded with City Navigator NT street maps and a sizeable points of interest database, and also has Bluetooth technology for wireless voice directions or phone calls. With an XM subscription and antenna, it can receive traffic alerts, weather, or the radio. You can load mp3s to the unit to take your music on the road, and a jpeg viewer lets you share your journey with friends and family when you stop. Both motorcycle and cigarette-lighter power adapters are included so you can use it in your car, too.
